Rx Power Smoothie

1 cup soymilk (regular, vanilla or chocolate)
½ cup frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen blueberries
10 frozen red grapes
¼ cup plain yogurt or kefir
1 tbsp. flaxseed oil
1 scoop protein powder (plain flavor)
1 tbsp. “green foods” (spirulina)
1 tbsp. bee pollen granules

Blend in blender until smooth.

Quinoa Salad    (keen-wah)

Prepare 1 cup of quinoa per directions=2 cups cooked

 3 tbsp toasted sesame oil or extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Spike 
½ red onion or 3 scallions, diced
1 peeled cucumber, seeded and diced
3 Roma plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 avocado, diced
Fresh chopped basil or rosemary
Optional: 4 oz cubed baked tofu
Gently toss ingredients together.


Megan's Vegans “Antioxidant” Trail Mix

1 cup Raw Sunflower Seeds
1 cup Raw Pumpkin Seeds (Pepitas)
1 cup Raw Walnuts
1 cup Raw Pecans
1 cup Raisins
1 cup Dried Cranberries

Gently combine all ingredients in a large bowl.  For extra sweetness, add 1 cup of dairy-free carob chips.  Store trail mix in an airtight container or sealed baggies.
